Among the people of Faedruin, the headless dúlachán are harbingers of death sent by the grim god, Dúnn. When the PCs arrive in the village of Bánnoc, they find the chieftain’s hall seemingly besieged by one of the so-called Black Riders and it is up to them to defeat the creature or uncover the deeper mystery surrounding its appearance.
The Doom of Ferghal is a Reaver Sword & Sorcery Role-Playing Game scenario inspired by Beowulf, Karl Edward Wagner’s Reflections for the Winter of My Soul, and Irish folklore. Compatible with the Reaver Quickstart available on DTRPG.
